You have questions, we have answers!
A few of the questions we've heard most often are listed here:
What material do you use?
We use industrial grade MDF with a density rate of 45 lbs per cubic foot laminated with thermal-fuse melamine. We don't install wire systems.
How is it built?
While many pieces we use are modular, every job we do requires customization to best utilize the space. We don't use nails, staples, mollies or expanders. Our systems are attached only to the wall studs with screws.
Who does your installations?
We do. We do all of our own work so our customers know exactly who to talk to in case there's a problem. Scott does the cutting, assembling and most of the heavy work. Debbie does the designing, billing, drawer and accessory installations and general "go for" work. The buck stops here!
What kind of guarantee do you offer?
Into The Closet guarantees all the work we do and the products we install. In addition, the Mastersuite line we use is warranted by the manufacturer and includes a free replacement policy to the user.
Are you a franchise?
No! We are an independent privately owned company. The owners, Scott and Debbie Barker control all operations of Into The Closet. Since I (Debbie) came up with the name of our company, I am flattered that people think it is a national franchise!
How much does it cost per foot?
Every job we do is different, we don't have a set per foot price for retail customers
Are you like California Closets?
Yes and No. Yes, the materials we use are similar. No, we are not a franchise. No, we don't have employees. No, we don't have a huge overhead to cover.
How long does it take?
Usually I can come out to measure your space within a week of your request. Design consults normally take 60-90 minutes and you will have a quote at the end of the consult. Installations generally take place within 2-3 weeks of receiving your deposit for the job. Most installations can be completed within a day. We will stay on your job until it is done. If we don't finish the first day, we will be back the next working day to finish up. We schedule jobs so they don't overlap
Do you take out existing closet material?
We can do that for a nominal fee. Keep in mind that we are not drywallers or painters, so if there is damage to the wall, our resources are limited to minor hole patches.
